Bus #751 was bought by the Metropolitan Corporation of Greater Winnipeg (Metro Transit), and originally housed a large computer on-board for testing a early radio/geo-positioning system. Starting as bus 132 it was renumbered 751 and converted into a regular service unit which operated until 2001. The section is operational and preserved for by MTHA volunteers.
Historical Note: General Motors establish a Division in 1938 to service customers needing diesel power. After the purchase of Yellow Coach in 1943, the company formed General Motors Truck and Coach Division. General Motors had build intercity Highway coaches, transit buses and Rapid Transit Series (RTS) buses until 1987.
In Canada, buses were manufactured initially in London, Ontario and later in Saint-Eustache, Quebec until 1979 when the factory was sold to Greyhound Dial Corporation. It was then sold to new company called Nova Bus Corporation.
